  and unburned Hydrocarbons.
• Fuels containing sulphur produce Sulphur dioxide.
• NOx can be produced by ignition spark.
• Lead was previously used in petrol

Reducing Pollution

• A catalytic converter in the exhaust changes
  harmful gases into less harmful ones.
• Increasing the Air/Fuel ratio will reduce
  incomplete combustion.
