A mother duck sat on eggs in a nest

The eggs hatched into yellow, baby ducklings

One was very ugly. He was gray

The animals laughed at him,Look at that ugly
duckling

The Ugly duckling was very sad.He ran away

Everybody he met laughed at him.The children
chased him

He was very sad. Then winter came and he hid in
the snow.

Spring came and he heard sounds of many birds in
the water

He saw these beautiful white swans swimming in
the water

They came to him and said, you are such a
beautiful swan

He looked into the water, and yes, he was not a
duck, he was a beautiful swan
