- To ensure uniform and orderly deployment of
ambulance teams to serve the eight EMTF regions
in Texas -
- To provide supplemental emergency patient care
and transport during large scale incidents
requiring patient movement

- 1- Strike Team Leader per Strike Team in a
separate vehicle - All components of the strike team will have
common communications capability - Ambulance Strike team will have common
communications with other EMTF components, i.e.,

- The RN strike team component of EMTF-7 will
be deployed to augment staffing of a hospital in
a like-department of an affected jurisdiction.

- RN team will have common communication capability.

15AMBUS Purpose Mission
- Planned and designed to ensure uniform and
orderly deployment of our regional AMBUS
component of EMTF-7 across the eight EMTF regions
in Texas -
- To provide the capability for mass patient care
and transportation, as well as responders during
incidents which threaten public health safety
16Mobile Medical Unit (MMU)Goals
- 16 32 bed capacity
- Provide emergency stabilizing care and transfer
- 6-12 hour launch time for 72-96 hour deployment
- Clinical and Facilities Groups
- Standardized minimal supplies, pharmaceuticals,
and capabilities - No x-ray capability
