Organizational Structure
  • We have 12 regional district offices, each
    directed by a national vice president, administer
    support services to locals. AFGE bargains for
    working conditions and terms of employment under
    Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act. The
    pay and benefits of federal workers are
    established by Congress thought the legislative
    process. AFGE lobbies and testifies extensively
    on issues important to government workers.
