  • Turn off (or even better, unplug) electric
    appliances
  • (consider a power strip, connect several
    appliances and then turn off the strip when not
    in use).
  • Use a regular phone instead of cordless phones
    if possible
  • Turn off water faucet,
  • Take shower not baths,
  • Change shower head to 2.5G per minute
  • Clean air-conditioning filters
  • (it saves electricity, and its good for your
    health)
  • 4. Tune-up car, keep balanced, Accelerate
    minimum only.
  • This can increase the MPG by an extra
    10Miles/gallon
  • Turn down Water heater, and Air Conditioner
    settings
  • Use sheets instead of blankets
