System Scope

• The system will be able to control a hot water
  heating system to regulate the temperature of the
  rooms in a building. The room working
  temperature will be based on room occupancy, with
  temperature of an unoccupied room being less than
  the desired temperature of an occupied room. The
  system will maintain room occupancy living plans
  to anticipate the use of a room and preheat the
  room accordingly.

System Scope (contd)

• The system operator will be able to turn the
  heating system on and off and to reset the system
  after resolution of faults. The system shall
  detect an abnormal fuel flow or a loss of
  combustion and shut down the furnace
  automatically.
