Fiction

  nonfiction). Some types of fiction are realistic,
  historical, and science. Theyre included in the

• Realistic fiction is a story thats made up but
  could really happen.

• Historical fiction is a type of fiction that
  takes place in the past.

Folk/Fairy Tales

• A folk/fairy tale is a myth, fable, or legend
  that was orally passed down from person to
  person. Eventually people wrote them down in
  books.

Traditional Literature

• Traditional literature may explain historical
  events or tales that are usually about one
  particular character.

Fantasy

• Fantasy has made-up characters and things that
  could not happen or are unreal/fictional.

• There is a mystery to solve that the reader is
  trying to figure out. There are pieces of
  information throughout the book.

• Nonfiction is writing that can be informational
  and is always true.

• Biographies are books that tell someones story.
  They arent written by the actual person in the
  book.

• An autobiography is just like a biography, but it
