  eaten, to see things blackened and changed. While
  the books went up in sparkling whirls and blew
  away on a wind turned dark with burning.

  death came after. The concussion knocked the
  air across and down the river, turned the men
  over like dominos in a line, blew the water in
  lifting sprays, and blew the dust and made trees
  above them mourn with great wind passing away
  south.
