Current Standards
12
Proposed Standards
  • WK16425 - Standard Practice for Entity Equipment
    Resource Profile (EERP)
  • This practice describes a statistical depiction
of the quantity and value of equipment resources
available to support the goals and mission of the
entity, regardless of the equipment ownership,
    type, or acquisition methodology.

13
Proposed Standards
  • WK16679 - Standard Practice for Cannibalization /
Harvesting of Serviceable Equipment Components to
    Support Open Requirements
  • This practice describes the process by which open
production and failure related requirements are
    fulfilled using existing equipment components.

14
Proposed Standards
  • WK16699 - Standard Practice for Equipment Control
    Matrix

15
Proposed Standards
  • WK15738 - Standard Practice for Receiving
    Property
  • This practice covers the process for verifying,
recording, and reporting receipt of tangible
  • property (that is, equipment, supplies, and
    material).
  • Entities use a variety of systems to document the
    property entering their possession. This
  • practice details the fundamental concepts of the
    receiving process.

16
Proposed Standards
  • WK16680 - Receipt Notification
  • This practice covers the process of receipt
notification as a result of Equipment
  • movement.
  • The application of this standard should promote
    accurate visibility of Equipment location.

17
Proposed Standards
  • WK15385 - Practice for Data Characteristic of
    Property, Equipment, and Asset Records
  • This practice presents both essential and
optional data elements contained within a record
    of property, equipment, and assets.
  • Essential data elements are requisite in a
property, equipment, and asset record to comply
with internal and/or external requirements and
    regulations...

18
Proposed Standards
  • WK15385 - Practice for Data Characteristic of
    Property, Equipment, and Asset Records
  • Optional data elements are applicable to all
records of property equipment and assets
depending on the needs of the subscriber entity.
    The variation across entities regarding
applicability allows this practice to be
effectively applied in whole or part to all
records of property, equipment, and assets. All
data elements are not required or applicable to
    all entities.

bulletin, the ASTM standard for high-risk items
(only firearms at this time) is 0 percent and 2
percent for non-high-risk items (other property
