RESULT OF SIN - RECEIVE FREEDOM (PRONOUNCE FORGIVENESS OVER THE
PERSON) - REALIGN WILL AND PURPOSE WITH THE LORD
- REJOICE IN HIS PRESENCE AND GOODNESS

behavior

- STONES AND THE CROSS
- SYMBOL REPRESENTING THE DYSFUNCTION OR THE
BLOCKAGE IN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD - PROCESS EITHER INDIVIDUALLY OR IN A GROUP
14STEPS OF HEALING FOR EMOTIONAL UPHEAVAL
- PRIOR TO PROCESSING, STRESS THE PERMISSION TO
FEEL AND SHARE (TO COUNTER NO TALK RULES IN
FAMILIES) - HELP TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OWNING FEELINGS (NO
ONE MAKES US FEEL ANYTHING) - HELP CARE RECEIVERS GET IN TOUCH WITH THEIR
FEELINGS (CAN GIVE FEELING WORDS HANDOUT) - DISCUSS HOW ANGER IS OFTEN A COVER EMOTION
15STEPS OF HEALING FOR EMOTIONAL UPHEAVAL (contd)
- EXERCISE WRITE THEN PROCESS A PSALM OF LAMENT
- WRITTEN IN LANGUAGE 1 (SIMPLE, HONEST,
UNCENSORED) - SHARED WITH THE LORD
- AFTER SHARING, ASK THEM TO LISTEN TO WHAT JESUS
IS SAYING ABOUT THEIR FEELINGS/SENSE WHAT JESUS
FEELS WITH THEM - PRAY OVER THEM
16STEPS OF HEALING FOR EMOTIONAL UPHEAVAL (contd)
- Difficulties
- Care Receiver moves to the cognitive safer
- Primal language may seem too childish
- Censorship Care Receiver may be unable to
honestly express more negative emotions (anger,
rage, shame) or may not be comfortable using
profanity even if this is what they really feel
17HEALING FOR FALSE BELIEFS
- Recognize the lie
- Revealed by the Holy Spirit
- Check for the lie within the lie (What did this
mean for you?) - Realize the impact of the lie on your lifewhat
believing this has cost you (all spoken to Jesus)
18HEALING FOR FALSE BELIEFS (contd)
- Renounce
- The lie
- All levels of demonization that occurred as a
result of believing and living out the lie - Listen for Jesus to share the truth and Announce
this truth, pronounce this truth, proclaim this
truth, receive this truth, be washed in the truth - Seal this work
19HEALING FOR FALSE BELIEFS (contd)
- Exercises
- Sticks and bandages
- Remember to allow God to select the lies
- Body Outline
- Vertical exchange
- Vitally important for the Care Receiver to hear
God share the words of truth to trump the lies
believed
20HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS
- Combines healing steps from the other stages of
healing - MANDATORY DO ONLY WHAT THE FATHER IS DOING
- VERY IMPORTANT This stage should only be done
if the care receiver is able to - Get to a safe place
- In some way, experience the presence of God
- Important that you practice safe place prayer,
that you pray for the opening of their senses and
the sanctification of their imagination
21HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Come into the Lords presence (pray for
sanctification of imagination, opening of
spiritual senses, spiritual protection, an open
heaven above you, the Lord to create the safe
place needed for this process) - ALWAYS watch and wait and listen
- Move only as guided by the Holy Spirit
- Allow care receiver to soak in Gods presence
- May need to remain here for a period of time
- If this step is not mastered, it could open the
Care Receiver to abreactions, retrauma, feelings
of failure and shame that nothing happened
22HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Identification of the wound by the Holy Spirit
- Remind care receiver that no wound is trivial and
that there is a method to the order of healing
that needs to occur - Tell Jesus the story surrounding the wounding
- Prayerfully help them recapture and restructure
events as they remember them
23HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Grieve the loss (healing for emotional
upheaval)this is the time to mourn, not forgive - Ask how they felt as a result of this act, what
they believed about themselves and others and
God, what this act cost them in terms of
relationships, hope, opportunities, etc. - Stay in touch with where they are, whats going
on, and especially where Jesus is and their
ability to sense His presence while this is
occurring - VERY IMPORTANT-Silence the evil one and note all
lies, other wounds or demonization to be dealt
with later Do NOT short-circuit their grieving
process a lament may be needed to process more
grief - Pay close attention to your responses to their
griefif youre uncomfortable or tweaked, you
might move to shut down their processing of their
pain
24HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Infusion of Truth (healing for false beliefs)
- Have care receiver ask Jesus to show Himself in
the visualized memory of the wounding and have
the care receiver actively look for Him or seek
His presence/sensation - Have your client ask Jesus what He
thinks/feels/believes about the situation and
have them pay attention to His actions and words - Allow them time to soak in this new reality
- Reinforce His word and actions to them
- A VERY IMPORTANT STEP
25HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Forgiveness (NOT forgetting, releasing from
responsibility or consequences or saying it
doesnt matter) - Forgive the offender(s), yourself, the Lord,
institutions/others that may have been silent - Shaping a Blessing for the Offender
- Done after adequate grieving and once forgiveness
has been done do with good boundaries-vitally
important can be done for those who have died
Does not mean relationship needs to be
re-established - Is a way to put forgiveness into action
26HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Identify, Repent and work on unhealthy behaviors
and reactions (healing for dysfunctional
behaviors) - Vengeance, bitter root judgments, inner vows
- Seal the work
- Post Prayer counsel
- What changes need to take place in order to shore
up the ruts in the care receivers life? - How to come against the strategies of the enemy
- Focusing on keeping the blessing and healing
- Role of keeping short accounts (repentance on a
regular basis-but not compulsively)
27HEALING FOR DEEP WOUNDS (contd)
- Why healing may not occur
- Care giver is not doing what the Father is doing
- Care receiver is not open to receive
- Environment is not safe/conducive to positioning
- Care receiver has their own agenda and isnt
willing to follow the Lords leading - The timing is not yet
