  everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that
  is in you, with meekness and fear 16 having a
  good conscience, that when they defame you as
  evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in
  Christ may be ashamed.

3. Why do you proclaim the Lordship of
Christ?

• 1. Reaction to the love of God.
• 1 Corinthians 916 For when I preach the gospel,
  I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach.
  Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
• 2. Realization about the judgment of God
• Realization of the power of Gospel.
• Romans 116  For I am not ashamed of the gospel,
  because it is the power of God that brings
  salvation to everyone who believes first to the
  Jew, then to the Gentile.

• Realization of the destiny of people outside
  Christ
• Romans 216. This will take place on the day when
  God judges peoples secrets through Jesus Christ,
  as my gospel declares.
• Realization of there is no other way for
  salvation.
• Acts 412 Salvation is found in no one else,
  for there is no other name under heaven given to
  mankind by which we must be saved.
• John 146 6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the
  truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
  except through me.

• 3. Response to the majesty of God
• Isaiah 68 Then I heard the voice of the Lord
  saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for
  us? And I said, Here am I. Send me!

4. A true witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

• Acts 2017-22.
• How he lived? - serving the Lord with all
  humility.
• How he preached? Preached the whole counsel of
  God.
• I kept back nothing that was helpful, but
  proclaimed it to you.
• How he taught? in all context to all people.
• Taught you publicly and from house to house, 21
  testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks,
  repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord
  Jesus Christ.
• How he was led? - And see now I go bound in the
  spirit
• How he trusted the Lord? -
