  • High field ESR spectrometer with continuous
    frequency coverage in the far-infrared frequency
    domain was built
  • Antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR) measurements
    on LaMnO3 single crystal were performed
  • The AFMR frequencies calculated from the uniaxial
    antiferromagnet model (black squares on the
    figures) do not agree with the experiment when
    the static field is perpendicular to the easy
    axis (b direction in the figures)
  • A canted antiferromagnet model fully explains the
    measurements (white diamonds)
