Our mission and goals

• Mission
• To preserve and promote the rich cultural
  heritage of Indian classical music, rooted in the
  ancient Saama Veda Tradition, and use it as a
  means to educate, entertain and enrich the lives
  of people, bring unity amongst them, foster
  peace, love and mutual respect amongst people of
  different ethnicities. Music is an international
  language and Asian Indians will share their
  knowledge of Music with that of others while
  living together in a multi cultural ethos of
  United States.
• Goals
• Keep alive the rich goldmine of Indian classical
  raagas rendered in any form (classical,
  semi-classical, fusion of eastern and western
  music) or fashion (vocal, instrumental) by being
  a conduit for music education and entertainment
• Be a platform for artist collaboration and
  networking
• Promote musical talent in the younger generation
• Dedicate a portion of the funds raised to help
  the visually impaired and economically challenged
  talented musicians
• Scholarships
• Funds to purchase musical instruments
• Funds to take lessons from renowned teachers
• Support musical careers to earn a livelihood

• Conduct concerts on a regular basis to promote a
  diverse variety of music
• Showcase the diversity and versatility of artists
  residing locally and from around the world to
  showcase their talent in the form of concerts,
  workshops and demonstrations
• Bring together artists, students and educators of
  all ages and skills to perform, share and learn
  all aspects of music
• Foster the growth of music through information
  collection, dissemination and sharing
• Instill in the younger generation of musicians a
  love for learning, practicing and performing to
  achieve artistic excellence
• Network, collaborate and liaise with other
  organizations dedicated to promoting music in the
  San Francisco Bay Area.
• Sangeet Dhwani is a unique and esoteric Music
  Agency that has been established for the first
  time in the San Francisco Bay Area and has all
  the potential to grow since it spreads only
  love, friendship camaraderie amongst cultural
  diversity which is the hallmark of California.
