6Achievements
- One of its kinds in the world, Concept of
'Constellation of Gateways and National Service
Directory. Accordingly e-Governance standards
formulated in consultation with industry
consortium -
- Considerable RD and involvement led to the
confidence to go ahead with development of the
Gateway using Open-source tools to avoid
vendor-lock and ensure inter-operability. -
- Lessons learnt from earlier projects being
applied - STQC involvement from inception
- considerable focus on relevant documentation
- incorporating appropriate processes in place so
that future enhancements and integration with
other systems possible. -
- Identified the MMPs and other projects where the
NSDG can be plugged-in to demonstrate its
capabilities and advantages. A successful
integration will result in projecting NSDG as a
strong middleware that can potentially be
integrated into other projects nationwide.
