5TYPES OF FINGERPRINT IMPRESSIONS
- LATENT PRINTS Impressions that are transferred
to as surface by oil, sweat, blood, or other
substance on the ridges of the fingers. These
may be - VISIBLE
- INVISIBLE
- PLASTIC PRINTS Impressions made by touching a
plastic-like substance (butter, wax, grease,
clay, etc.) to leave a 3D form of a print. - ELIMINATION PRINTS Prints taken to eliminate
surrounding suspects.
