These pictures were taken on the day I hauled her
out of a yard in Jamestown, Rhode Island.

It was in the summer of 2005.

Deck and cabin roof had been replaced and was in
good shape..

but cabin side and top plank on both port and
starboard had serious rot.

20 ft tarp on a 30 ft boat equals much water
damage.

What was I thinking?

Hauled it home and built a tent.

So easy even a kid can do it.

Rotted cabin area posed a challenge.

Cutting the 2 x 6 into 3 long strips and
laminating them into place (using the West
System Epoxy) made the challenge of bending the
planks into place a non-issue.

Like new again.

Used Western red cedar to rebuild cabin side.

Starboard coaming was cracked.

New coaming in place.

Old Bow stem had dry-rot.

Everything else was being replaced.

So, off with the old...

Mahogany rub rails will be added later.

Finished cabin rot repair.

Almost therebottom paint is next.

Now, if I can just figure out the sail rig. Twin
30 masts and no drawings to go by.
