Achievements of the Regional Centre

• Establishment of IGNOU Regional Centre Campus
  
• on four acres of land provided by Govt. of
  Tripura
• Construction of boundary wall for newly
  established
• Regional Centre Campus
• Recognition of IGNOU Degrees/ Diplomas/
• Certificates by Tripura University.

Recognition of 6-months CPE and CETE programme
by Govt. of Tripura for all purposes including
increment, promotion, placement and service
regularization of the in service teachers of the
State

• Sponsorship of Teachers for CPE and CETE
  Programme by Govt. of Tripura and TTAADC.

• Activation of CLP in all the CICs of the
  state.

• Provision for successfully completed BPP
  students of IGNOU to get admission in BA
  Programme of Tripura University under distance
  mode.

• . Approval of the Govt. of Tripura for the
  purpose of distribution of SC/ST/OBC stipend to
  IGNOU students.

  Programmes regularly in the areas of fruit
  processing, handicrafts PC hardware etc. EDP for
  Rural Women was also organized in Tripura.

Future Plan of Action
We intend to make our Centre one of the ideal
Centres. To pursue this object the following plan
of action has been suggested.

• Utmost attention will be given to reach the
  underprivileged people.
• Establishment of Multipurpose Community Training
  Centre
• Construction of Regional Centre Building.
• Activation of programme based on local needs.
• Conduct of Entrepreneurship development
  programmes specially
• in rural areas of the state .
