Mens Silhouette
  • Mens style what the male dress includes was the
    shirt, waistcoat, breeches, and the coat or
    justacorps. The shirts were narrow band or linen
    tied back at the neck, or called the cravat.
  • Coats had buttons and fake buttonholes on the
    front. Coats were full skirted and reached to the
    knee. They were collarless and buttoned from neck
    to hem.
  • Breeches were cut moderately full and closed at
    the front with a button flap, called the
    fall-front. The reached the knee and were
    buttoned closed over finely knit hose.
  • The waist coat was extended to the knee and was
    rich of brocades.
  • Wigs were tied back into a square with a black
    ribbon and powered.

    over a dome-shaped hoop.
