Part I Data Analysis, Monitoring and Intervention
- Build a Monitoring System to Regularly Analyze
Student, Classroom and School Wide Behavior - Design a Classroom Management Course to support
classroom teachers in need of assistance - Classroom Management Class will be offered two or
three times a year. Teachers identified to need
assistance in this area will be encouraged to
take the class. Teachers wanting to pursue
additional training in the area of classroom
management can enroll in the class.

Part II Improve Consistency of Implementation
- Revise behavior guidelines to give greater
specificity to the consequences for inappropriate
behavior to ensure that discipline is
administered fairly and consistently across the
District - Effective immediately all classroom suspensions
will require, pursuant to State law, documented
attempts to contact the parent/guardian about the
classroom suspension and a request to attend a
parent teacher conference to develop a behavior
improvement plan

- Increase communications with the home regarding
