Conservation and Energy Efficiency Programs

• Laclede Gas Company (LGC)
• Offers several conservation and energy efficiency
  programs
• Uses decoupled rates in order to encourage using
  natural gas wisely
• With the assistance of the Laclede Energy
  Efficiency Collaborative (EEC)
• Selected a portfolio that provides residential,
  commercial, and industrial customers with direct
  benefits
• Programs will be available through July 2010 or
  until budgeted funds have been allocated

Laclede Energy Efficiency Collaborative

• Formed in August 2007 to advise LGC on
  conservation energy efficiency programs
• Charter members are
• Laclede Gas Company
• Staff of the Missouri Public Service Commission
• Office of the Public Counsel
• Missouri Department of Natural Resources
• Other members are AmerenUE, USW Local 11-6, and
  other appropriate parties that are acceptable to
  the EEC charter members
• Joint programs with electric utilities are
  encouraged

Laclede Energy Efficiency Collaborative

• Up to 3.95 million over three years
• Budget will be spent over next two years
• Estimated first year savings 785,620 therms
• Commercial/Industrial and Residential rebate
  programs began November 28, 2008
• Building Operator Certification program has been
  filed potentially effective March 30, 2009
• Six other programs will be rolled out in due time

• Interruptible Service
• Large Volume Service
• Large Volume Transportation and Sales Service
• Standard (prescriptive) and custom rebates
• Natural gas energy efficiency improvements
• Energy Audit
• Non-Profit Full cost up to 750/build. lt 25,000
  sq. ft., 1000/ build. gt 25,000 sq. ft.
• All Others 375/build. lt 25,000 sq. ft.,
  500/build. gt 25,000 sq. ft.

EnergyWise Furnace Financing Program

• LGC will help residential and commercial
  customers purchase the following at competitive
  interest rates
• High-efficiency natural gas furnaces
• Energy-efficient gas appliances
• High-efficiency air conditioners
• 10,000/heating system including some additional
  appliances
• Down payment of 5, 12-60 month loans, 7.5-8.5
  APR depending on equipment purchased
• Pay back on your monthly gas bill
• Similar 2000 financing available for home
  insulation
