Objectives environment
  • Create an integrated learning and research
    environment from a series of disparate parts
  • Provide high quality, flexible seating with IT
    access throughout
  • Provide a balance informal, quiet and group study
    space through natural zoning
  • Improve access and flexibility for users with
    disabilities
  • Create a new reading room and seminar room in
    Special Collections to develop student use of the
    collections
  • Create a high quality exhibition facility and
    display space
  • Configure entrance and reception areas to provide
    a café and informal learning space and to
    facilitate longer opening hours
