parent and girl meeting - We tasted all the cookies

4The Goal Mall of America
- Our GOAL is to travel to the Mall of America for
a weekend visit.
5COOKIE Goals
- Lots of math was involved to figure out how much
money we needed for our trip, and then how many
boxes of cookies we each needed to sell. Our
brains were tired! - Each girl needed to sell at least 125 boxes of
cookies. - Each girl set her own personal goal 125 boxes
or more. - Many girls set personal goals over 200 boxes!

- Every year we practice selling cookies to each
other at our meeting - Some of us pretend to be customers we ask lots
of crazy questions! - The rest of us practice selling to them.
- Then we switch, so everyone has a turn.

- Call friends, relatives and neighbors
- Go door to door around the neighborhood with
parents permission - Give parents small order form to sell at work
- Bring order form to school and sell to classmates
and teachers

- We sold over 120 boxes
- Every box we had was sold
- We had 4 1-hour shifts
- There were 3 girls at each shift

16We Did Awesome!
- We were the top selling troop in our service
unit! - We had an average of 180 boxes of cookies per
girl! - We kept 0.80 of every box for our troop!
17Cookie Profits support the local Humane Society
- We used some of the profits that we earned to
purchase fleece material. - We made fleece blankets to be used as cat beds
for the Humane Society.
