Hundreds of prizes were given away. And each
child received a book for our literacy project.

Kiwanis One Day

• Hampstead and Topsail Kiwanians painting the
  building.

Pancake Breakfast
Hampstead and Topsail Island Kiwanians held a
pancake breakfast at the park to raise money for
their joint project Plant A Seed, a childrens
community garden.

Eagle Scout Project

• Local Boy Scouts built a beach volleyball court a
  the park.

Turkey Trot 8K Race and Kids Fun Run

Topsail Ball Club

• The Topsail Ball Club and the Topsail Girls
  Softball used the fields for spring and fall
  ball.

Soccer Football

• Port City Soccer and Topsail Pop Warner Football
  held games and practices on the 2 athletic
  fields.

The Topsail High School Mens Soccer team also
practiced on the fields and went on to win the NC
1-A Soccer State Championships!

Phase I is now complete
The Concession Stand and Bathrooms are
complete and open for public use.

• Half Mile Walking Trail
• Restroom Facility
• Parking for 50 Vehicles
• Access Road
• Construction is currently underway on Phase II
  under the direction of Pender County and
  Hampstead Kiwanis Park, Inc.
