The Earth has many treasures that we are still
discovering today. Rocks and minerals vary
greatly from region to region and country to
country. People called Rockhounds" search for
these treasures and some display their finds on
the Internet. As of now, you are a Rockhound-in-
training! Get ready to travel and learn about
rocks and minerals from all over the world!

discover if we only know how to go about the
process. Rockhounds-in-training, get ready to
learn and explore! You will keep a record of
your adventures in your Rockhound Journal. You
will discover the differences between rocks and
minerals. You will learn how to identify some
common rocks and minerals. You will develop
an appreciation of the diversity of rocks and
minerals from all over the world.
