Thailand is located in southern Asia, bordering
the Andaman sea and the Gulf of Thailand,
southeast of Burma. Thailand has total land of
514,000 sq. km. and their total of water is 2,230
sq. km.

July 2005.

king PHUMIPHON which is on December 5th 1927

11Here is some of Thailands History. In 2004 the
tsunami hit the west coast. Thailand has been a
kingdom since 1350. That's a long time ago.
12A DAY IN A LIFE
For breakfast, kids in Thailand usually eat rice
or noodles or cheeseburgers School starts at
815. Takes 1hr and 30 minutes to go to school
by bus. There are 50 students in every
class. Each class studies The language Thai and
English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. For
lunch Thai kids have Cheese, Mangoes, Ham, and
Sticky rice.

Rice is Thailands main crop. The rice harvest
lasts from September through May. Thailand
produces 8 tons of rice.

few of them are The Emerald Buddha, The Elephants
on parade, and the Hill Peoples Culture.

Warm, humid and rainy from mid-May to October
cool and dry from November to mid-March.
