Allows me to work wherever I am and out of usual
office hours Social Services Team - I went out on district to survey where our dog
faeces receptacles are. Usually this involves
carrying a large number of paper maps etc.
However using the mobile device and accessing
source map I was able to update the records with
exact locations. This would normally have taken a
day to do but was completed within 2 hours-

still allowing the essential contact with the
office through e-mail and Flare Environmental

the office, I can only tell you that this
Convertible Laptop is fantastic. It saves me so
much time by removing the re-keying of the
assessment No way am I ever going to give this

Wales. 51 have responded to the Project Nomad
surveys on mobile working.
Out of these 209 responses 56 of LAs are
currently undertaking some form of Mobile
Working 37 of LAs are planning to undertake
some form of Mobile Working 7 Of LAs are not
planning anything
