6Goal of 2007 Project
- Partner with fire departments from two major
cities to identify and define causes of fire
deaths and injuries among high-risk populations
and the unique challenged associated with
reducing them. - Work with leadership within the departments to
develop strategies to address the challenges.

- Interview fire department personnel and community
leaders in two major cities (Louisville/Milwaukee)
- Interview leaders of CDC-funded smoke alarm
programs - Conduct literature review to complement on the
ground information

Ohio.
