WSX Project Description

• Project Alignment
• Add 5.4 miles of new trackway, including a
  one-mile long subway beneath Fremont Central Park
• Warm Springs Station
• At-grade center platform with overhead concourse
• Provisions for Future Station at Irvington
• Station may be added later Subject to funding by
  the City of Fremont
• At-grade side platform with overhead concourse

• Maximize opportunities to foster smart growth.
• Enhance transit opportunities.
• Relieve overall traffic congestion.
• Increase new transit trips in Alameda County.
• Reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, toxic
  air contaminants, reactive organic gases, oxides
  of nitrogen, and particulate matter.
• Facilitate decrease in transportation energy
  consumption
• Decrease in annual automobile and bus vehicle
  miles travelled.
• Provide gains in energy efficiency.
