• Feeding
• The blank is fed using a vacuum assisted friction
  belt, which pulls one sheet at a time from the
  bottom of a stack of blanks held in the feed
  hopper.

• Pre-Break
• The carton is transferred into the pre-break
  section. Using fixed knives and folding plows,
  the carton is broken with a 180 fold on glue
  flap and 120 fold on the second panel.

• Gluing
• The glue is applied using a pressurized hot melt
  glue system using a pattern controller from GMS.

• Final Folding
• After the score is made, the carton will pass
  into the rear drive where the center fold is made.

• Trombone
• The individual products are directed into a
  shingled stream to be compressed, allowing the
  folds to set.

• Compression / Stacking
• The cartons are transferred onto the discharge
  conveyor in a continuous shingle pattern for
  packing.

• Adjustable height machine to directly drop
  directly into cartoner

The adjustable base of this unit adjusts between
30 60 and can be set in one of three ways
1. Level at lowest position for floor or off
line operation 2. Level at cartoner infeed
height for use with a platform and inline
operation
3. Angled, leaving the feeder at its lowest
position for ease of feeding with the exit raised
to a point directly into cartoner hopper.

• Optional Tray Packer
• As cartons are pushed into the tray, the elevator
  lowers to a preset point where an alarm or light
  is activated. The operator will remove the filled
  tray and press reset the button, recalling the
  elevator to its empty position to restart
  feeding. The elevator is adjustable for different
  size trays.

• Optional Powered Carton Blank Hopper
• Avoid the task of repeatedly loading short stacks
  of carton blanks into the standard vertical
  hopper with the addition of our powered carton
  blank hopper. Operators simply load large
  quantities of carton blanks in the optional
  hopper as shown below. A push plate is used to
  keep consistent back pressure on the blanks to
  ensure that they are fed into the main hopper
  properly
