- A relationship which helps a mentoree reach
his/her God-given potential. - Mentoring is a relational experience in which one
person empowers another by sharing God-given
resources. - Mentoring is a relational process that transfers
experience that facilitates empowerment. - Mentoring moves the mentoree from learning by
mistakes to learning by example.

- 3. Begin to meet.

- Pray. Ask God to lead you to the person that is
willing to mentor you. - Formally or informally speak to them about the
mentoring process. - Meet and ask for counsel about your priorities.
- 4. Ask God to confirm the relationship or look
for another mentor.
