Try This!

• Use a globe and a flashlight to see how the Earth
  turns.
• Put a piece of clay on the globenear Ohio.
• When the clay is on the side where there is light
  it is daytime.
• When the clay is on the dark side it is night.

• How did the shadow change when you turned the
  globe?
• Do shadows outside change? How?
• Does the length of the shadow change?
