the process, Oracle Inventory removes all related
information from the database. You cannot view or
report on this information once you purge it. -

  • 1.       Permanently close all periods you want
    to archive/purge
  • 2.       Create the required tablespace to hold
    your archived data
  • 3.       Select the set of books to archive
  • 4.       Select the Balance Type to Archive
  • 5.       Select the Period(s) to archive
  • 6.       Run concurrent process
  • 7.       Review Archive Purge Audit report
  • 8.       Export the Archive tables
  • 9.       Copy the export files to tape
  • 10.    Delete the export file from directory
  • 11.    Select the set of books to archive
