• A native New Yorker with more than a13 years in
  international marketing, public relations and
  media, Jonathan Gardner joined Edelman in 2006.
  As managing director, he is responsible for
  management of Edelmans operations in Taiwan, as
  well as business development and account service.
  
• Prior to joining Edelman, Jonathan worked in
  various capacities for media companies in Asia,
  including the Hong-Kong-based South China Morning
  Post, where he played a role in expanding their
  overseas operations.
• This was preceded by a posting with Hill and
  Knowlton in Hong Kong, where he focused on
  technology, corporate and consumer public
  relations activities, and found him counseling
  clients and directing projects throughout Asia
  Pacific.
• Before coming to Asia, Jonathan worked for
  several years at well-regarded communications
  companies in New York City, including BSMG
  Worldwide. His last position was as a vice
  president at a mid-sized marketing and
  communications agency, where he was responsible
  for high-level counsel and team management.
• Throughout his career, Jonathan has been esteemed
  for a wide-ranging background that enables him to
  provide valuable insight and deliver results for
  clients. He has worked on behalf of clients from
  nearly any industry and area imaginable,
  including everyone from internet start ups to
  Fortune 500 corporations, and even the occasional
  pop star and elected official.
• Jonathan is a highly regarded creative strategist
  and an accomplished writer, having drafted press
  releases, advertisements, speeches, articles, as
  well as a full-length novel.
• He received his B.A. in psychology and journalism
  from Rutgers University in the United States. He
  has also studied the Chinese and Japanese
  languages. He was also one of the youngest
  Congressional interns ever in Washington, D.C.
