All About Flong!
Our alien, Flong, is pink and sparkly. He has two
arms and three legs. His lungs are adaptable to
any environment. Flong enjoys eating hot dogs and
shopping. He has a mood changing moustache and he
can fly. When he flies he puffs up his cheeks
with helium and flies into the air. Flong is
friendly and funny. Flong is a guy.

We met Flong on the planet Jupiter. Jupiter is
the largest planet. It is fifth farthest from
the sun and it has twenty-three moons. Jupiter
also has a great red spot. This spot is a high
pressure storm much like a hurricane on Earth but
much bigger. It has lasted for at least 400
years. Jupiter does not have a solid surface
but does have a liquid ocean of hydrogen and
helium under its atmosphere. Like Saturn Jupiter
also has a ring.

We chose to hide our alien, Flong, on the planet
Saturn. Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun
and the second largest planet in our Solar
System. It is one of the outer planets, so
Saturn is a gas giant. Saturn is often
identified as the planet with the beautiful,
giant rings. The rings are mainly made of chunks
of rock and ice. Saturn is also known to have at
least 31 moons. Saturn is a safe place to hide
Flong because it has an extremely thick
atmosphere so it would be hard for anyone else to
get there.
