Whistling Swan

• 48-55 inches in length

• Most widespread
• Solid white with black bill
• Yellow spot in front of each eye

• Largest North American waterfowl
• Solid white with black bills
• Two distinct populations, one in the West and one
  in Alaska and Canada
• Few predators because adults are so large and
  aggressive will attack a human who approaches
  too closely

• Pure white body, orange bill with black knob at
  base
• Very aggressive
• Non-migratory
