- On June 20, 2007, local court petitioned for
injunctive relief from construction. On July 13,
2007, Secretary Bradberry voluntarily ordered
halt to all activity. - Right-of-way acquisition suspended
- Final design 95 complete and halted
- Stoppage remains in effect today

- In February April 2008, I met with
Representative Chandler Senator Long - Began dialogue with Jindal administration
- Attempt to resolve differences
- I presented DOTDs current plan (Option A)
- Officials requested an option that provided
shoulders open ditches - DOTD explored Option B
