  your own.

Consequences of Committing It

• Most teachers feel very strongly about the act of
  plagiarism especially in a collegiate
  environment, where you can even get expelled for
  it.

How to Avoid It

• Read the passage from which you are taking
  information and try to paraphrase it, using your
  own words and language.
• Dont just copy another writers work but change
  a few of the words, thats cheating too!
• When using someone elses exact words use
  quotations.
• Cite your sources!
