What Is ITEP???
  • AIESECs Core work Process
  • A reciprocal International work Exchange Program,
    in which every internship created in Canada for a
    foreign student will result in a Canadian Student
    participating in a similar work placement abroad.
  • Founded in 1948, ITEP is a student managed work
    exchange program.

OBJECTIVE
  • Promote cultural understanding through
    international work exchanges.
  • Provide companies high caliber students that have
    the skills to fulfill the companies needs.
  • Develop more international awareness and gain
    valuable experience by participating in AIESEC.
  • Opportunity to live as a citizen integrate into
    the culture of the host country
  • Provide Students with the unique opportunity to
    complement their theoretical learning with
    practical business and cultural experience.

Incoming Exchange
Selected students that applies for ITEP.
Selected Student(s) are awarded a credit to go
away in a work exchange.

TCS TRAINEESHIP IN INDIA
  • Required knowledge
  • The general student profile is as follows
  • Recent graduates with IT related engineering or
    computer science backgrounds.
  • Students with minimum of 4 months work experience
    in an IT related job.
  • Preference for students with knowledge of Oracle,
    PL/SQL, C, C, Java, J2EE, .NET, Mainframe, and
    AS400.

  • Students who wishes to apply for ITEP must
  • Be an ACTIVE member of the local
  • Must be Insight XP certified
  • Must READ, UNDERSTAND and SIGN the ITEP Package
  • Students who are awarded a credit must
  • Have strong knowledge of AIESEC
  • Have gone to at lease 1 marketing call
  • Organized an event
  • Must be ACTIVELY matching

ARE ALL THE JOBS ABROAD OF QUALITY?

  • Exchange reality in Canada is different from
    other countries
  • Some countries are more concerned of Quantity
    instead of Quality.
  • Like any other jobs, students must be careful on
    how they match with the company.
  • Students should investigate/research and ask
    probing questions to traineeship manager of the
    company about what the job entails.
  • Traineeship is what you make of it.
