  • The Fair trade Mark is an independent consumer
    label which appears on products as an independent
    guarantee that poor producers in the 3rd world
    are getting a better deal.

  • Fair trade can come from a range of countries. In
    fact it is too hard to name all of them, so they
    come under a certain category ( the poor
    countries.) Most fair trade products come from
    poor countries. Where ordinary farmers and
    village people work hard to produce these
    products. Often they are paid little money for
    their hard work. Fair trade ensures everybody in
    the chain of production and sales get a fair deal
    for their work.
