About PSRC Funding
  • PSRC selects projects for four sources of funding
    - 160 million/year
  • Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ )
  • Surface Transportation Program( STP)
  • Federal Transit Administration (FTA) 5307

  • An adopted Policy Framework provides direction
    for PSRC investments based on policies from
    the regional growth plan (VISION 2020), the
    regional transportation plan (Destination 2030),
    and from the Regional Economic Strategy. 
  • Most projects are for capital purposes

  • Stresses importance of collaborative partnerships
    between transportation agencies, emergency
    management, transit and freight interests
  • Identifies key corridor projects to achieve this
    joint vision for ITS in the Region
