ELIGIBILITY

• Requires all growers regardless of size to

• Must be a dry litter operation
• There is no discharge of process water
• Has no waste or raw material exposed to storm
• water rainfall or runoff

• The permit provides coverage to
• Operate a dry litter animal feeding operation
• Construct and operate poultry mortality
  incineration equipment
• Discharge storm water associated with
  construction activity
• when disturbing one (1) acre or more

• NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT PLAN CONTENT

  better than the 100-foot setback.

  annually for nitrogen and phosphorous content.

• Remember When you deliver litter you are
  still responsible for the litter. If you
• place or spread litter where it can pollute
  the water then you are responsible for
• the discharge.

PRACTICES Requires secondary containment or
equivalent protective measures for above ground
bulk storage capacity of more than 1320 gallons
or any single container greater than 660 gallons.
