• National endorsement of TSI and standards (EN
  50463/ UIC leaflet 930) can lead to smooth
  homologation processes.
• However
• The interoperability directives leave room for
  not complying with TSIs and..
• Specific national regulations may lead to
  obstacles for the homologation process.
