    professional development

  • Funded by Government grant and a Company
    contribution

Criteria for Projects
  • Company financially able to complete and exploit
    the programme
  • Programme will create strategically important
    change for the company
  • Academic input essential for an innovative result
  • Associate s t r e t c h e d

Role of the Supervisors
  • Academic Supervisor
  • Regular support to project and Associate (visits
    company on average ½ day per week)
  • Guide Associates academic development
  • Provides expertise to the KTP programme
  • Links with others in the Knowledge Base partner
  • Industrial Supervisor
  • Day-to-day support to the project and the
    Associate
  • Guides Associates professional development

Associate Eligibility
A person recently qualified with the equivalent
of. - first or higher degree or -
National Vocational Qualification Level 4
or - Higher National Certificate/Diploma
or - Foundation Degree
In addition who. - has not been employed by
the company - has not previously completed a
KTP, TCS or CBP - intends to pursue an
industrial or business career and has
appropriate aptitude and attitude
