How does it work?
GPS receiver GSM data sender / recorder
unit. Provides target for GPS satellite. Records
coordinates for vehicle location and speed every
10 seconds.
Satellite provides permanent tracking of cars
position and speed. Speed calculated by satellite

Approx once a week recorded data downloaded to
base station. Coordinates and speed data compared
against digitally mapped speed limit areas.
Travel times checked - Filters and allowances

Introduction to Traksure

• Traksure is an insurance Risk Control product for
  sale to male drivers aged 19 to 25.
• Pilot program of 500 on test, 400 sold so far.
• When proved, the system will be sold countrywide.
• Other applications will be considered, e.g. fleet
  management.
• Insurance per mile.

How does it work? 1.

• Firmware is fitted in the vehicle.
• The firmware contains GPS and GSM devices.
• Following ignition on the firmware records
  vehicle location and speed.
• A record (reading) is taken every 10 seconds.
• Data is downloaded to base server weekly.

• The base station server has O.S. mapping for
  entire Country overlaid with speed limit zones.
• The raw data is processed on the server.
• Exception reports are printed using processed
  data.
• Warning letters are issued to offenders.
• Offenders are given a max of 3 warnings.
• A fourth offence means expulsion.

Underwriting criteria

• Males 19 to 25 only
• Max 1600 cc cars - standard models only
• Full or provisional licence holders acceptable.
• Cars requiring an NCT cert must produce it.

New Business process

• Customer gets quote wants to proceed
• Arranges appointment at Brokers Office.
• During meeting explain terms of the Agreement to
  customer.
• Customer signs agreement and proposal.
• Issue Temp Cert (Cover Note) for 30 days.
• Arrange appointment with Traksure fitter.
• AXA processes the policy and issues documents
  when all requirements met.
