the most about or what will be of the most
interest to your reader. - Try to group some items together to form a detail
with tell me mores. - Create a Tree Map.

5- Draw the beginnings of your Flee Map (intro box,
arrows, and detail boxes)
6- Write your introduction and fill in the detail
boxes. - Add your tell me mores.
- Choose your transition words for each detail.
- Draw the conclusion box.
7This was going to be the best day ever! My best
friend, Shayne, and I had recently entered a
contest at school to win NASCAR tickets. And we
won! The weekend had finally arrived when we
would get to go to the Texas Motor Speedway and
see all those famous drivers racing around the
track. It was cold that morning so we packed
warmly for our weekend at the track.

What a day! I cant believe we won tickets and
got to go to the races. I am going to enter all
the contests I can in the future. Maybe Ill get
lucky and win again! Keep your fingers crossed!
