The Strategic Plan

• The plan includes three components, Mission

Mission of the Johnson School

• The Johnson School is charged with educating
  the children of Nahant pre-kindergarten through
  grade six. To that end, staff will continuously
  work to provide educational excellence in an
  emotionally and physically safe environment,
  appropriate for learning and rich in academic
  resources. Students are challenged to become
  critical thinkers, to become excited about
  learning and to reach their full potential as
  life long learners while becoming contributing,
  caring school citizens and productive members of
  our global society.

  want to live within our school and our
  community.

• To realize our mission, long-range planning

Long-Range Goals and Objectives

Long range planning requires a close examination
of an organizations mission and resources
Develop a five year plan to include curriculum
development, textbook and equipment
replacement Develop a fee structure to support
additional services

Long-Range Budget Planning

• In order to accomplish its mission an
  organization must secure the funding necessary to
  support its initiatives
• Program and associated staffing needs
• Budgeting practices
• Additional revenue sources
