  • Relative clauses are introduced by relative
    pronouns (qui, quae quod).
  • The antecedent of a relative pronoun may be a
    noun or another pronoun often a personal,
    demonstrative, or indefinite pronoun.
  • A relative pronoun takes its person and number
    from its antecedent it takes its case from its
    use in its own clause.
  • Relative clauses used adjectivally take the
    indicative mood.
