Premise of Project

• The premise of this project is to distinguish
  what features make a website more or less user
  friendly, and what changes can be made to enhance
  usability.

Websites

• The following websites were tested with two
  distinct but similar user defined tasks.
  Individuals were recorded for their accuracy,
  number of mouse clicks, and time to complete each
  task. Tasks were also compared between slow and
  fast computers, as well as with and without a
  coffee mug in hand.

• ? Changing year drop function to a brighter
  color, green for example like the headline text
  of the golf site, in order to facilitate
  navigation between years records.
• ? Explanation of scoring

  the left margin, placing a diagram of the world
  on the front page that links to different
  countries or continents when you click on them
  would facilitate the tasks

  card sort study would fix a lot of usability
  issues.
