Personal Portable Repeater (Its not low tech
signal booster)
1. Purpose of use
The personal repeater is designed for use in
areas such as subterranean floors of office or
apartment buildings where a normal cellular
connection is not possible.
2. Requirements to use personal repeater
a) Rx Level above -100dBm/FA
b) Ec/Io above -12dB

Difference Between Existing Repeater and Personal
Portable Repeater
Existing Repeater
Pin
Forward Pout 1020dBm
Repeater gain 55 70dB
Required Isolation 70 85dB
In case of the existing repeaters, it is
economically not feasible for use on and above
grounds due to high range of antenna isolation
needed to secure for installation. Accordingly,
it is mainly used in the subterranean levels of
buildings where securing isolation is relatively
easy.
Personal Repeater
Pin
Forward Pout -80 -70dBm

Repeater gain 20 30dB
Required Isolation 35 45dB

Personal Portable Repeater
According to a report by Gartner Dataquest
(October 2003), there are 461 million mobile
phone users worldwide. This number will grow by
at least 3 per year through 2007 with some
regions such as Asia and Africa where those
numbers are expected to increase at a much higher
rate, 6 and 14 respectively. The number of
mobile phone users is 150 million in the U.S., 59
million in Japan, 36 million in Korea, 26 million
in Mexico, 33 million in Brazil, 8.5 million in
Saudi Arabia. The most current figure available
for Thailand is 7.6 million for year 200l. SK
Telecom, Korea's largest cellular phone company
with a total of 18 million subscribers, has
concluded that a minimum of 10 of the current
users in Korea will need our personal repeater to
cover the shadow areas, in cellular
communication. In order to stay ahead of its
competition, SK Telecom has placed an initial
order of 4,00 units for its customers, even
though the shadow areas in Korea are much less
than those that exist in other countries
(including the U.S or the EU). This initial order
is to be followed immediately by subsequent ones
of 100,000 units. We expect that other cellular
phone companies in Korea will follow suit. The
need for our repeater, however, is greater and
more imminent in the rest of the world,
especially as the number of mobile phone users
continues to grow. This means there is an ever
increasing dependence on cellular phone
communication for both business and personal use.
The cellular communication environment must
provide better reception with less dropped calls
and less shadow areas and dead zones to meet the
users demand. A conservative estimate on the
need of our repeater in the rest of the world is
in the range of a minimum of 20 to 40 of
current cellular phone users. Using the 20
figure, the most conservative number out of
Korea, which reflects the world's best cellular
infrastructure, 92 million units of our repeater
would be required, which translates to US9.2
billion, using the selling price of approximately
US100 per unit (the version without built-in
Bluetooth gateway). If we assume that we capture
only 10 of the global market during the first
year of 2004, it amounts to US920 million.

Personal Portable Repeater
1. World's first of its kind small,
compact and lightweight. Credit card size
with a thickness of less than 1/3 inch. 2. Easy
to use no installation is necessary. No
professional technician is needed to install and
use it. 3. Powerful and effective thanks to a
technological breakthrough. No oscillation
problem occurs because it uses a loop antenna
that comes with the repeater that amplifies the
signal and relays only to the designated
terminal (specific cell phone or PCS terminal).
In other words, due to minimum propagation
loss between the loop antenna attached to
the repeater and the antenna of a hand-held
terminal (cell phone or PCS), the repeater only
needs to minimally amplify the signal. 4.
Built-in Bluetooth capability. For the
cellular phone without built-in Bluetooth
features or without a Bluetooth adapter
connected to it, our repeater has a version with
a Bluetooth gateway installed inside the
same repeater to make wireless communication
possible. 5. Continuous, uninterrupted service
at an affordable price. Cellular phone users
can enjoy uninterrupted and guaranteed service
(while within their service area) in any
environment, including subterranean floors or
inside an elevator of a building, at a
fraction of the cost of alternative methods
currently available.

6. Versatile operation Works in AC, with a
built-in rechargeable battery, and DC, with a
cigarette lighter adapter. Since it
consumes minimal power, stand-by time is long and
recharging is quick.

Bluetooth Headset - Features
1. Features of Bluetooth Headset Bluetooth is a
regularized standard for wireless communication
in a relatively short distance, and uses the 2.4
GHz ISM band established by the Bluetooth SIG
(Special Interest Group). It provides various
profiles according to the user application and
our Bluetooth headset adapts to the headset
profile that supplies the wireless audio
connectivity with related devices such as a
mobile phone, and therefore, improves the
mobility of the user with the device such as
hands-free kit. In addition to these Bluetooth
basics, the Bluemax headset is on the cutting
edge of technology in that it has a microphone
and a speaker integrated inside the earpiece.
Therefore, the size and weight of the headset is
minimized. Furthermore, the earpiece with the
integrated microphone and speaker serves as a
hanger, simultaneously blocking the ear hole,
which means there is more effective noise
cancellation by a reduced amount of outside noise
reaching the microphone. (This earpiece is
optional.) These images are developed by Bluemax
Communication headset.
