• There is UGAMPA which is a union for blind
  musicians, both amateur and professional.
• There are several blind music teachers,
  professional performers and composers.

• These are provided by AVH in Paris and Nice.
• CTMBI (the transcription centre for Braille
  music).
• IPHV (the state institute for visually
  handicapped people).
• INJA (the National Institute for the Blind).
  There is a database of adapted materials BDEA.

• This is a text editor with a beep sound when the
  end of a line is reached.

• This is a long process and there are a lot of
  mistakes during it.

• Transcription of an orchestral score Le
  concerto en sol de Ravel
• The editor (Durand) gives the authorisation to
  transcribe and says that there is no digital
  score.
• Finale is used to input the score, which is
  faster than scanning.
• Braille plug in is used.
• Braille Music Editor is used but information is
  missing, midi parameters are not permanent and it
  is difficult to extract or add a part and to
  present the information.
